Paintings, sculptures and photographs created by more than 80 women artists from around the world from the 19th century to the present day.
Christian Levett, an art collector for nearly 30 years, is at the origin of this ambitious project. It has already acquired more than 600 works by women artists and continues to constantly enrich its collection. This will allow a regular rotation of the works on display, offering an unprecedented museum experience in the south of France.
Among the big names in art history, the FAMM exhibits works by Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Leonora Carrington, Joan Mitchell, Alice Neel, Marina Abramovic, Frida Kalho, Tracey Emin, Jenny Saville, Sarah Lucas, Lee Krasner, etc. as well as many leading emerging artists.
The visit :
- First gallery: impressionism,
- Second gallery: abstraction,
- Third gallery: figuration,
- Fourth gallery: contemporary art.
It is possible to host your private event and cocktail reception at the FAMM.
A lecture series, Heure FAMM, takes place each month at the Old Village Art Center. It features prominent figures from the arts and cultural world, highlighting the lives and legacies of women who have made history.
